The
Writing Lab offers guidance to all
undergraduate and graduate students on every
aspect of academic writing in English. From
grammatical structures to research paper
documentation, the lab tutors are on hand to
answer all student questions and to help
them develop their academic writing skills.
For learning how to write does not end in
the composition classroom; it is a lifelong
process.
Given
the difficulty of writing an effective
academic essay, whether English is one's
first or second (or third) language,
students sometimes feel more comfortable
seeking advice from a lab tutor than a
professor. For this reason, the Writing Lab
is staffed by trained tutors, working under
the direction of a faculty member.
